The primary objectives of the Federation, expressed through its charitable arm, the Southern Federation Foundation, Inc., are to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors and to make contributions to selected charities throughout the world including ALSAC/St. Jude's Children Research Hospital. In the past twenty years, hundreds of thousands of dollars have proudly been distributed by the Federation to further these goals.

The Foundation also supports an active Cultural Committee whose primary objective is to educate, promote and foster the preservation of a precious heritage through a variety of projects, displays, exhibits and activities.
